My little house calm as ever
In this town of endless wonder.
To stay here, or to wander
Sprawling streets astir, I wonder.
Around the flame wings aflutter,
And spinning globes around the star.
Swirling blazes, or a deep cold
Point at its core, I wonder.
Pulsating around Eye of Calm,
A poem, a whirlpool, a storm,
Dancing Darvish, prayer wheels' whirr,
And beads of the seer, I wonder.
I wonder, forever wonder,
Like a mirror in a mirror.
Is there an end, and at the end
An end? Forever I wonder.
